install on 1.7.5 problem

I have followed instructions exactly, for installing marvikshop so far. this is a new installation on a new joomla site. I am at the point after installing com_oscommerce_personal.zip, where I clicked on 'clean install' after installing it. After clicking this, I was immediately kicked back to the admin login page. After entering the login details, the page changed to give me these error lines:

1146 - Table 'gho2_joom.mat4l_osc_configuration' doesn't exist

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from mat4l_osc_configuration

the server is running php 5.2.17, sql is 5.0.92-community, joomla version is 1.7.5.

I have checked the database through phpmyadmin and none of the osc tables have been created. do I need to run the sql files found in sql folder under admin/components/com_oscommerce/sql/ manually?

its ok now, I reinstalled and it was successful. It says Marvikshop 2.0, but I purchased 2.2 though.

I suspect the issue that caused the original problem was I was too quick to click 'clean install' and although I had uploaded the modified index.php files I had not renamed them yet, and renamed them after the fact. I don't know for sure as I do not recall now.

It should be no problem to install. Sometimes there are problems with dir rights. My shop runs perfect on Joomla 2.5.1. It's easy to delete the tables in phpMyAdmin and try to install again. Most information I got from the oscommerce contribitions forums, which are not very active...

If you got some problems let me know. I made some major changes version upgrades on OsCommerce contributions which comes with MarvikShop 2.3 I hope. Time is the problem... New version comes in March I think. it's a complicated program, but a fantastic program for me. Years I was looking for this.
