Joomla 1.7 installation - Installdb not found was created by highab
Hi I'm trying to install the free version on joomla 1.7 with php 5.2 (not 5.3) and I can't get past step 2.
Steps one and 2 execute without proble (see first screenshot)
I then clicked on "Clean Install" and got "not found" in option=com_oscommerce&osMod=installdb
The other 3 screenshots show the current file structure for com_oscommerce

"You can download the free version for Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 ( not 1.6/1.7). "
Unfortunately the free version is still for Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 not for Joomla 1.7
I can explain a little more. Joomla 1.6/1.7 got no index2.php and index3.php anymore. So these changes where made in version 2.0 of MarvikShop.
What you can do, if I see your pictures. Is extract the admin.zip files and upload them separate to the ftp server. In the admin.zip file , there is an sql file which you can load in phpMyadmin database. Don't forget to change the prefix first.

OK, so why publicise it as being 1.7 compatible... that's why I came to you in the first place.

If you buy the full version
MarvikShop 2.0 and 2.1 works fine on Joomla 1.6/1.7
De free version is still for Joomla 1.1 and 1.5.
On the screen of the free version you can see:
"You can download the free version for Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 (not 1.6/1.7). "

Only if I know it works with my setup first... that's what I presumed the free version was for... to show us its good and we should buy it.
If I can't test it, I'm less likely to trust it, sorry.
