I am very much interested to buy and download MarvikShop. I am using osCommerce since many years and now I have a requirement which I hope MarvikShop can match.
First I needed a proper CMS included which is of course done with Joomla.
Second and this is why I post into this forum, I would need a shop which shows depending on the user/usergroup logged in just specific categories in osCommerce an hide the others.
Practically I want to built up a closed shop (no registration possible) for different clients separated by different user roles(out of Joomla I guess) to show them specific content and just their specific products and hide the ones from other useres/usergroups.
Is this a possible scenario for MarvikShop? If not implemented yet would it be easy to help me to achieve this?

1. Marvikshop got\'s his own CMS, like kunena forum. The modules are separated. These are the boxes in oscommerce

2. A user needs to register when using Marvikshop. This is done by the Joomla register plugin. When using usergroups this will be done in Marvikshop itself. We add the contribution customers_groups. So you can give every user a group like \"retail\"
Practically I want to built up a closed shop (no registration possible) for different clients separated by different user roles(out of Joomla I guess) to show them specific content and just their specific products and hide the ones from other useres/usergroups.
3. You can make this in Joomla

4.I think this is simply to achieve with MarvikShop. We are now busy with Marvikshop for joomla 3.0. We hope to finish this in a couple months. To use this webshop you need some experience with Oscommerce.

>> A user needs to register when using Marvikshop
Is there a way to create useres from the Administration side of MarvikShop? Because there shall be no registration possible from the frontside. In Fact the whole shop shall be behind a login.
In osCommerce I know there is a module for creating users, will this work togther with the customers_groups contribution? Or is this all handled via Joomal usermanagement? So that I create the useres in Joomla and assign them somehow to customers_groups in osCommerce?
Finally what will I need to download/buy the recent MarvikShop and any AddOns?

When you create a user from the administrator side. You have to do this within joomla. When you create this user this will be automaticaly copied to the database table of marvikshop. When you want to delete a user within marvikshop, you have to do this in joomla itself. Otherwise the user still exist in Joomla and not in Marvikshop.
You have to buy the component and if you wish the modules.
Create user wil always be done within Joomla. the group management contribution will be done in marvikshop, by the customers_group contribution of Oscommerce.
When you buy the component you will see the create account.php of oscommerce. The blue print of this site is marvikShop 1.0. since 2.0 it\'s done by Joomla.
Marvikshop 1.0 => joomla 1.-1.5
MarvikShop 2.0 => joomla 2.5
MarvikShop 3.0 => joomla 3.0
Migrate would be simple if you understand Mysql.
The database tables are the same as Oscommerce tables. But it will be very modified by all the extra contributions of oscommerce.
From Marvikshop 1.0 to 3.0 there aren\'t much changes in the database.
Only the program itself change a lot.
You can copied the components in a ftp client.

I run MarvikShop 2.1 version and the file seems the same as the latest oscommerce 2.3.3.4 file.
I removed the file and the problem was gone. Does anyone got the same problem and maybe sollution? Because it\'s the same file as Oscommerce.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
