MarvikShop is a Joomla component based on osCommerce, it is not a bridge or stand alone program, but a complete e-Commerce shoppingcart solution from osCommerce. MarvikShop itself works within Joomla as a component, it installs through the Joomla extensions manager and uses the Joomla registration form. It is very easy to migrate from oscommerce to MarvikShop. Marvikshop uses the same database tables as ocSommerce. We added 2 plugins for better performance in MarvikShop. The first one is a new profile plugin for Joomla 2.5/3.0. The second one will be needed to synchronizes your profile with the MarvikShop adresbook, customers, customers points add-ons etc. MarvikShop is for 80% Oscommerce and uses the same database tables.
